Our True Battle

This week's message is Our True Battle. Choose your connection speed to listen: dialup - broadband - transcript

Who Is Our Enemey?

Is our enemy the athiest? The activist judge? The radical jihadist? The terrorist? Other groups or people who would seek to run from the truth or even take away our freedom to believe the truth?

attendance: 40+

We tend to view these people and groups as our enemies. And this is just what our true enemies want us to do. If we don't know who is behind the attacks against us, we will be unable to defeat them.

Today we explore this issue, and ponder the questions: Who is our enemy? How do we fight them? And what are our chances of victory?

Choose your connection speed above and join us for worship and a time in the Word, and explore our enemies, our warfare, and how we can overcome.

Do you enjoy poetry and music? My wife, Jennifer Faust, has gathered together some of her best poetry and has recorded it just for you. I have composed original music with sound effects especially for each poem in Jen's Poetry Volume One.

The Weapons of Our Warfare...

Today we were reminded, "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty to the pulling down of strongholds." Fellowship - click to enlarge

What does this mean in practical terms? Does God expect us to rise to some type of mental ascent before we are able to overcome the financial, emotional, and even addictive attacks brought against us every day?

And how does our own victory or defeat affect those around us? Regardless of how many people you influence with your life of victory or your life of defeat, that person influences people, as do the people those people influence. You make a ripple in the pond of life that extends much farther than you can imagine. Living in victory isn't just for your own good. Whether you live in victory or defeat, you take others with you.

Jesus told all of us to preach the Good News to everyone everywhere, making disciples of all people. If we are wearing the whole armor of God, we will be able to produce disciples. If we are living in victory, we will be able to lead into victory those who are bound, opressed, downtrodden, and who are without direction, purpose, and hope.

This is why we march into lands that the Christian army has left mostly untouched. We know there are millions of people who are living in hopeless defeat, and we know there is total victory in Jesus and in him alone.

Currently there are more than 1,774,389 people in the virtual community we have been called to reach, and that number grows by 30,000 to 100,000 per week. Help us reach as many of those as possible with the love and life-changing Good News of reconciliation with God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Please partner with us today! Ask God what he would have you do as a one-time gift and as a monthly partner.

Additionally, you can ask us to send information about our ministry in the virtual world to your pastor, ministry, or Christian business. When they catch the vision and see what a large and virtually unreached mission field the virtual world is, they will be given the chance to play a part in this powerful outreach. Visit here to request information sent to your church, ministry, or Christian business.

Visit here to become a financial partner or give a one-time gift today. And remember, whatever you do to the least of these, you do unto Jesus.
