So Is He
We've all heard the quote, "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." Is this actually a Scripture verse? And is this a Biblical principle?
While this Scripture actually reads "As he thinks in his heart, so is he," and it is usually taken out of context, today we explore the Biblical principle of matters of the heart, and ask the question, "Does what goes on in my heart really define what kind of person I am?"
Choose your connection speed above and join us for worship and a time in the Word, as we talk about our thought lives, pondering the reality of the words, "so is he."

"Clean the Inside of the Cup...
...and the outside will be clean also." Jesus spoke these words to those who thought they could look holy on the outside while hiding greed and self-centeredness on the inside.
Jesus presents the truth that if we get things right in our hearts, our lives will show it. And this is a challenge to us -- a challenge to keep diligent guard over our hearts, knowing that the springs of life flow out of them.
The more time we spend in God's presence through his Word, prayer, and worship, the more our minds will be transformed into his image. And the more our minds are transformed into his image, the more like Jesus we will become.
The more like Jesus we become, the more of a burden we will have for those who do not know him, and the more of a burden we have for the lost, the more urgently we will take the Good News to everyone everywhere. This is why we daily answer the call to reach out to a worldwide community, many of whom can be reached in no other way.
Currently there are more than 3,023,702 people in the virtual community we have been called to reach, and that number grows by 30,000 to 100,000 per week. Help us reach as many of those as possible with the love and life-changing Good News of reconciliation with God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Please partner with us today! Ask God what he would have you do as a one-time gift and as a monthly partner.
Additionally, you can ask us to send information about our ministry in the virtual world to your pastor, ministry, or Christian business. When they catch the vision and see what a large and virtually unreached mission field the virtual world is, they will be given the chance to play a part in this powerful outreach. Prayer Requests & Praise Reports
Healing for Friends – LQimani writes, "Dear Heavenly Father: I ask that you touch two of my colleagues from school--Deborah, who is fighting cancer right now and Wendy, who is suffering from horrid migraines.
Touch both of them right now, Lord; You know their needs. Ease their suffering by Your Spirit, Lord. Whatever is tormenting them--in body and or mind--we know that You can conquer. Thank You, Father. In Jesus' name I petition. Amen."
Going Through Divorce – Tyler writes, "In The Name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Dear God, Good Morning. I hope your day is going well for you. My day is starting out with a lot of discouragement and emotional pain in it and I hope that you and myself can get it back on track today. As you know I had to sign a compliance letter agreeing to our divorce with my wife. My Attorney's secretary told me it will be filed and recorded and in a few days and we will be officially divorced. I wish we could work things out between us. Holy Father please soften her heart as you have done mine. I love you God and I love my Wife dearly. I can only imagine the emotional pain Your only Son and my Savior Jesus suffered from in the Garden of Gethsemane for our salvation was so much greater then mines is now. My Savior asked you if this cup could pass Him by and I am asking you also if this cup can pass us by Father. Not as I will it but as You will it. I ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord and Redeemer Amen."
On Life Support – Fredrich writes, "Please pray for Legolas who is in one of my other groups. He has just gone onto full life support due to kidney failure."
