Left Over Offerings
All of us have given the first and the best of our attention, our time, and our resources to something and someone else besides God. We've all given God our "left overs," if we give him anything at all. The problem is that we then wonder why things just don't seem to work in our lives like they would if we truly were living under the blessing of God.
When the people of God mentioned in Malachi brought their second-best as offerings to God, he said they were robbing him and were cursed. How does God view our left-over time and attention? And more importantly, how can we make sure every area of our lives is covered by his blessing?

I'll Give You My First and My Best!
Let this be the cry of your heart today, "Lord, I want do stop giving you the left-overs, and instead give you the first of my day, the best of my abilities, and my utmost in all things."
Let us no longer approach life with a "get by" attitude, but may we see each moment as a brand new opportunity to give our first and our best as a sweet-smelling offering to God, a sacrifice of worship.
If we have the gifts, talents, and abilities to dig ditches, wash dishes, perform surgery, compose music, work with computers, raise children, or any other thing, the first and the best of those gifts, talents, and abilities should be what we give to God. And with the rest, as with all things, we should do them for the glory of God.
God has given us the gifts, talents, and abilities necessary to minister via the Internet through a virtual 3-D world, where millions of people spend their time reaching out for an answer to the emptiness they feel inside. And we choose to use those gifts, talents, and abilities to reach out to these people all over the globe, sharing with them the life-transforming message of the Gospel.
Currently there are more than 6,566,090 people in the virtual community we have been called to reach, and that number grows by 200,000 to 350,000 per week. Help us reach as many of those as possible with the love and life-changing Good News of reconciliation with God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Please partner with us today! Ask God what he would have you do as a one-time gift and as a monthly partner.
Additionally, you can ask us to send information about our ministry in the virtual world to your pastor, ministry, or Christian business. When they catch the vision and see what a large and virtually unreached mission field the virtual world is, they will be given the chance to play a part in this powerful outreach.
