Building a Throne

This week's message is Building a Throne. Choose your connection speed to listen: dialup - broadband - transcript

Who Do We Enthrone?

Psalm 22:3 tells us God is enthroned by our praises. We know this certainly includes our songs of worship, as they become the dwelling place of God, and confuse the enemy, weakening the forces of darkness.

Is it only God who is enthroned by magnifying those things which please him and are in his nature? Or do the other things we glorify in our lives also build thrones for the forces of darkness?

In today's message we briefly explore the issue of building thrones to others besides God through the music to which we choose to listen. And we explore in more depth how living a life of worship to God will transform our lives.

Choose your connection speed above and join us as we worship God in song and then continue to worship him by exploring the Scriptures and the issue of living a life of worship.

Worshiping Before the Gentiles

We tend to tiptoe around, practically apologizing for being part of a "system of belief" which is so politically incorrect. And yet the Psalms are full of references to praising God in the presence of the lost. Fellowship - click to enlarge

When we begin living lives of worship, that worship will begin to transform every aspect of our lives. And we will find that worship starting to spill out of us to the world around us. The more we worship God through our lives, through our daily times alone with God, and through corporate worship, the more the fragrance of the presence of God will spread around us, and the more the world will see the peace, joy, and fullness only a relationship with Jesus can bring.

This is one of the many reasons we worship God in the virtual world, a 3D world on the Internet. And just as in a physical gathering, the sweet, powerful, and life-changing presence of the Holy Spirit shows up in a very real way. We're able to gather together with some who are unable to attend a physical church for various reasons, those who are trying to escape and may be reached in no other way, and those who know Jesus, attend a local church, and simply want more worship with other believers.

Help us continue to lift up Jesus! Become a prayer and financial partner with us today.

Currently there are more than 926,087+ people in the virtual community we have been called to reach, and that number grows by 20,000 to 60,000 per week. Help us reach as many of those as possible with the love and life-changing Good News of reconciliation with God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Please partner with us today! Ask God what he would have you do as a one-time gift to help cover the server upgrade, and as a monthly partner to help cover the monthly costs.

Additionally, you can ask us to send information about our ministry in the virtual world to your pastor, ministry, or Christian business. When they catch the vision and see what a large and virtually unreached mission field the virtual world is, they will be given the chance to play a part in this powerful outreach. Visit here to request information sent to your church, ministry, or Christian business.

Prayer Requests & Praise Reports

Altar Ministry - click to enlarge

Praise Report None Turned Away! Many thanks to Ken Margetts who is allowing us to hold services on his land, which means we are no longer limited to 40 people at any given time. Pray a special blessing on Ken for his service to the Kingdom.

Healing from Cancer Candie asks us to pray for her sister, Felicia, who is starting chemotherapy. Another sister asked us to pray for an unnamed friend who was in remission for throat cancer, but it has returned. The name of Jesus is above the name of cancer!

Employment Donnad writes, "Please pray that i find a job soon, a good job, and enough money to get me and my son a good car for we don't have one. Please pray that the hate my brother has in his heart for me will go away... Please help my dad and brothers see that losing my job wasn't my fault, please pray they find it in their heart to speak to me again. Oh God in heaven please look out for me and my child during these hard times, please help me to make the correct decisions on [where to live]... Please God help me through my hard times... In Jesus Christ's name I pray, Amen."

Health Ahleah asked us to pray for her health, and the possibility of cancer. Please continue to pray for her complete healing.

Pray For Us! Please pray that God will continue to move through this ministry in an even greater measure. Without your prayers, our labor will not have much effect. But when the work of the ministry is backed by prayer, great things will happen!

Visit our prayer center to post requests or pray for those who daily request prayer. If you wish to be a prayer partner and have the requests e-mailed to you, contact us.
